Cyberness Art Festival Cyprus

Cyberness × Kolla is an art festival in Cyprus that brings together local designers, artists and creatives through exhibitions, workshops, music and shared experiences. For the festival’s 2nd anniversary, I developed the key visual and poster design, creating a bold and playful campaign identity that works across print, digital media and physical applications.

The concept evolved from the visual language of the previous anniversary. I took the circular form from the first-year artwork and transformed it into a new central character, creating a connection between both editions while giving the second anniversary its own distinctive personality. The visual language combines bold gradients, pixel-inspired typography, grain, geometric shapes and playful illustrations, with electric blue, pink and orange defining the campaign’s vibrant color palette.

Beyond the main poster, I adapted the visual identity for social media and created animated versions for Instagram Reels and Stories. By bringing the characters, typography and graphic elements into motion, the static key visual became a dynamic part of the festival’s digital communication.
For the festival’s giveaway box, I also designed a collection of custom stickers based on characters, symbols and elements from the campaign. These physical applications extended the identity beyond the poster and created playful, collectible touchpoints for festival visitors.

The final project combines art direction, key visual design, poster design, character illustration, typography, motion design, social media content, sticker design and print into one cohesive visual system.
